A new Cape Bordeaux Red Blend from Waterford.
Compared to the Table Mountain sandstone and granite found on their other Cabernet vineyards, the grapes from the Antigo block produces wines with more plush, elegant fruit aromatics. The clay and coolness of the site also reduces stress and therefore creates tannins which are softer, sweeter, and more integrated than other areas.
The blend is driven by 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the blending components of 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot adding complexity and depth.
